Under the influence of this quote, sharing a chocolate approach for creative writing habit forming

The other day we went for a walk through this beautiful Denham Country Park,
And I was interested for my children to do a short narrative on their walk afterwards.

Could had just tasked and asked (boring/medicinal) a very clear medicinal dose.

How can this turn into a chocolate?

So instead, the offer was that we all 4 (parents inclusive, yes) do a short write up in 15 minutes.
The one with more figurative writing, extended metaphors is applauded with brownie points.

And Oh my God – my very own children, took their pens and paper with joy and the output was an elevated thoughtful writing and they did take their time to refine whereas we the adults committed to just 5 minutes of excellence🤪

The collective reading of each one of us, was an enjoyable competitive 🤩 chocolate affair.

And how just by reading out, ideas are influenced.
