My daughter had to make a poster for Holocaust day and that reminded me my trip to Israel back in my youth and I had spent almost 2 days at Yad Vashem museum.
That had changed me back, I read through all the survivors and the exhibits about pain and resilience .. it was like I couldnโt leave that museum. Back in London I was enthralled at my visits to Imperial War Museum.

How can this turn into a chocolate?
So instead, the offer was that we all 4 (parents inclusive, yes) do a short write up in 15 minutes. The one with more figurative writing, extended metaphors is applauded with brownie points.
And Oh my God – my very own children, took their pens and paper with joy and the output was an elevated thoughtful writing and they did take their time to refine whereas we the adults committed to just 5 minutes of excellence๐คช
Later
The collective reading of each one of us, was an enjoyable competitive ๐คฉ chocolate affair.
And how just by reading out, ideas are influenced.
